My husband and I working out on Halloween

Well we are 2 and a ½ weeks into the Change up and I can see the end is near. The last 2 weeks have been full of I can’s and I cant’s. I thought I would share with you the top 3 things I have learned so far this time around.

  1. I like turkey meat. 🙂 The first 2 times I did bootcamps, I would just try the turkey burgers, or recipes with turkey meat in it and after one bite, I would say gross and just eat chicken. This time, I have eaten all of the turkey burgers, and other recipes with turkey meat in them and loved em.
  2. Salads are my friends. Again, in the previous bootcamps, I would only eat canned green beans as my veggie, and maybe one salad a week. The change this time is that I am eating a salad at almost every lunch and dinner. The most shocking part to me is that I actually enjoy it.
  3. The confidence I have in my choices. I have seen a huge difference in my ability to resist temptations. Usually by now I would have caved and eaten some of my kids halloween candy, but I can honestly say that I was not even tempted. This helps me feel strong and continues to help me with my I can attitude.

I know I have a lot more to learn and my journey is not complete. But I am thankful for Get Fit and my coach Michelle Mott for pushing me and supporting me to continue to change my I can’t to I can!
